The 2026 Kano NPA International Polo Tournament produced a comeback for the ages as Port Harcourt FB overturned a 5½–2 deficit against Kano Titans to snatch a 6–5½ victory and book their place in the Mrs Cup final. With Kano Titans seemingly in control, Port Harcourt FB refused to surrender, raising the pressure and fighting back goal by goal until they completed the turnaround.
The result sends them into the final, where they will face Brick Cola in what promises to be another battle worth watching.
The Dantata Cup then delivered its own heavyweight showdown as Pop Cola and Musaco went head-to-head for a place in the final. Pop Cola struck first, but Musaco quickly responded and found their edge, pushing the game into a fierce contest.
Pop Cola eventually took control again and finished with a 10-goal victory, earning their ticket to the Dantata Cup final against Max Air. Speaking to Yax SportsLens after the match, Chiamo, patron of Pop Cola, was asked how prepared he was for the final. His answer was brief, bold and full of confidence:
“Anybody facing me should be prepared.” -Chiamo
Now there is nowhere left to hide. Tomorrow, Pop Cola face Max Air for the Dantata Cup, while Port Harcourt FB meet Brick Cola for the Mrs Cup two finals, two trophies and everything on the line.
