The Katsina NPA Polo Tournament came to a thrilling close after a week of intense competition from August 22 to 28. Al-Dussar won the General Hassan Cup, Danmarna claimed the Nigerian Cup, while Pop Cola completed a memorable double by lifting both the Wazirin Katsina Cup and Talba Cup.
The Wazirin Katsina Cup final produced one of the tournament's biggest moments. Pop Cola fell two goals behind against Mohali but fought back to win 2–2.5, taking the cup by half a goal. In the Nigerian Cup final, Danmarna led 3.5–2 against MaxAir by the third chukker before MaxAir levelled at 3.5–3. More goals followed in a goal-for-goal finish, but Danmarna held on to claim the cup.
The tournament was also defined by the fans, whose strong presence and reactions gave the final day a celebratory atmosphere. After a week of close matches, comebacks and narrow margins, the Katsina NPA Polo Tournament ended with its champions crowned and the sport sent off on a high.
