Day two of the 2026 Kano NPA International Polo Tournament delivered another dose of drama, with Gilasoismanaf and Pop Cola meeting again this time after their memorable clash in the Katsina final.
With Fernando Munez featuring for Gilasoismanaf, Pop Cola looked firmly in control early on, racing into a 4–1 lead. But Gilasoismanaf refused to let the match slip away. They fought their way back, turned the momentum around and eventually came back to lead 5–4, with Pop Cola still fighting to regain the advantage
With the match still to be concluded today, the drama is far from over.
Elsewhere on the field Port Harcourt FB recorded an 8–3½ victory over Mikano, while Kano Rima defeated Kano 1010 Group 7–1.
And with the tournament only two days in, the competition is already heating up.
